Who we are
We’re MJ and Matthew—the Eggscobar Bros! Two little brothers building an egg empire with a flock of very opinionated hens and a mom who cannot be trusted near a “chickens for sale” sign.
We help collect eggs, love on the animals, and occasionally require snacks before continuing our duties. Mom handles the paperwork. Dad keeps discovering we own more chickens. The hens take frequent breaks and refuse to discuss productivity.
What started with “just six chickens” has become a family adventure full of colorful eggs, big personalities, and a suspicious amount of clucking. Now we have merch because apparently the chickens needed a clothing line.
We’re also learning that running a business means finding ways to give back. Each year, we choose a charity to support. This year, it’s Grimes County Animal Rescue! We donate $1 from every dozen eggs we sell, plus a small portion of our merch sales, to help support their work. Our hens are pretty proud of their charitable contributions, although they still expect payment in meal worms.
